Tallordle

Privacy

Last updated 2 October 2026.

Tallordle is a daily game with no accounts, no sign-up and no email list. This page says exactly what it stores and where.

What stays on your device

The game keeps your progress for the day, your sound setting and a random player id in your browser's storage. Nothing on your device identifies you; the id is a random code the game makes up the first time you play. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

What is sent to the game's server

The server does not store your IP address. It does count requests from each address for a minute at a time to stop floods, and then forgets them.

Hosting

The game runs on Cloudflare, which carries the traffic between your browser and the server and keeps the ordinary technical logs any host keeps, such as IP addresses and the pages requested. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that.

Advertising

If the game shows advertisements, they are served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies to measure and personalise ads. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before any advertising cookie is set, and you can decline. How Google uses data in advertising explains the rest.

Listdle

The results screen shows a "Rate on Listdle" badge, an image loaded from listdle.com, the directory of daily games the game is listed in. Loading it tells Listdle's server your IP address, as any image on any site does; nothing else is sent unless you click through. Listdle's privacy policy covers that.
